NORTHWEST CHEVY SWEEPSTAKES

NO PURCHASE OR TEST DRIVE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR TO WIN. A PURCHASE OR TEST DRIVE DOES NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING. NORTHWEST CHEVY SWEEPSTAKES (THE “SWEEPSTAKES”) AND ANY ADVERTISEMENT RELATING THERETO IS INTENDED FOR PARTICIPATION/RECEIPT ONLY WITHIN THE STATES OF OREGON AND WASHINGTON AND SHALL BE CONSTRUED ACCORDING TO, AND GOVERNED EXCLUSIVELY BY WASHINGTON AND OREGON STATE LAW. DO NOT PARTICIPATE IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES IF YOU ARE NOT A PERMANENT LEGAL RESIDENT OF THE STATE OF OREGON OR WASHINGTON AND PHYSICALLY LOCATED THEREIN AT THE TIME OF ENTRY, OR IF YOU OTHERWISE DO NOT FALL WITHIN THE ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS SET FORTH IN THESE OFFICIAL RULES. SWEEPSTAKES DESCRIPTION: The Northwest Chevy Sweepstakes (“Sweepstakes”) is sponsored by the Northwest Chevy Dealers Association, Portland Area Chevrolet Dealers Association, and the Central Washington Chevy Dealers Association (Collectively “Sponsor”). The Sweepstakes website is located at www.NWChevySweepstakes.com (“Website”). The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. PT on April 22, 2009, and ends at 11:59 p.m. PT on May 31, 2009 (“Sweepstakes Period”). The Sweepstakes Period is defined by Pacific Daylight Time (“PDT”). The webmaster’s database clock (based on PDT) shall be the official time keeping device for all entries. By participating in this Sweepstakes, each entrant unconditionally agrees to abide by these Official Rules and the decisions of sweepstakes administrator and Sponsor, which shall be final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes.
WHO MAY ENTER: The Sweepstakes is open only to permanent legal residents within the states of Oregon and Washington who are eighteen (18) years of age or older at the time of entry and who possess a valid driver’s license issued in the state of Oregon or Washington. Void outside the states of Oregon and Washington and where prohibited by law. Directors, officers, and employees of Sponsor, General Motors Corporation, and their respective parents, affiliated, or subsidiary companies, advertising, promotion, production services, fulfillment agencies, sweepstakes administrator, legal advisors, web masters, contract employees, prize suppliers, and web suppliers (each a “Sweepstakes Entity” and collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities”), and their respective IRS dependents, immediate family members (children, spouse, parents, siblings) and individuals residing in their same household, whether or not related are not eligible to enter or win. The potential winner of the Sweepstakes may be required to show proof of residency.
WHEN TO ENTER: The Sweepstakes begins at 12:01 a.m. PDT on April 22, 2009, and ends at 11:59 p.m. PDT on May 31, 2009. To be eligible for the Sweepstakes, all entries must be received by 11:59 p.m. PDT on May 31, 2009.
HOW TO ENTER: During the Sweepstakes period and during regular showroom hours visit a participating Chevy dealer and ask a sales representative to allow you to test drive any new Chevy vehicle. A list of participating Chevy dealers is available at the website. After you successfully complete the test drive (a test drive will last approximately 15 minutes) you will receive one (1) sweepstakes entry card (“Card”) which will contain a unique one-time-use-only code (“Unique Code”). After you receive the Card with the Unique Code visit www.NWChevySweepstakes.com and complete the official online entry form in its entirety, which may include without limitation the entrant’s full name, complete address (including city, state, and zip code (no P.O. boxes without accompanying street address), telephone number (including area code), e-mail address, date of birth, and the Unique Code (“Entry Information”). After you complete the official online entry form in its entirety, click “Submit” (“On-line Entry”). To obtain an entry without visiting a participating Chevy dealer and taking a test drive, or if a participating Chevy dealer runs out of Cards, complete the official online entry form in its entirety (minus the Unique Code) and click on the alternate entry link on the registration page to submit your entry ("Alternate Entry"). All On-line Entries and Alternate Entries (Collectively “Entries”) must be received by 11:59 p.m. PDT on May 31, 2009. Limit one (1) Entry per person/email address for the entire Sweepstakes Period. On-line Entry must provide a valid e-mail address and Unique Code to be eligible. Proof of entering the required information at the Website is not considered proof of delivery to or receipt by Sponsor of entry into the Sweepstakes. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of who actually submitted an entry on the Website, the entry will be deemed submitted by the authorized account holder of the e-mail address supplied at the time of entry. An “authorized account holder” is defined as the natural person to whom the applicable e-mail address has been assigned by the internet access provider, on-line service provider, or other organization (e.g., business, educational institution, etc.) that is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses for the domain associated with the address submitted. The potential winner may be required to provide Sponsor with proof that he/she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the winning entry.
Multiple Entries will be disqualified.

All requested information must be included on your entry form for each method of entry (i.e. On-line and Alternate Entry) to be eligible to participate. Sweepstakes entries will be deemed null and void and will be rejected if Cards/Unique Codes are not obtained through authorized, legitimate channels. If a dispute as to the identity of any entrant cannot be resolved to Sponsor’s satisfaction, the entry will be deemed ineligible.

Unique Code can only be used to enter on-line once by the person who received Card containing same from sales representative at dealership; i.e., person who took the test drive. Cards/Unique Codes are non-transferable, non-assignable, and cannot be purchased or sold; any attempt to do so voids the Card/Unique Code. Cards/Unique Codes are not redeemable or exchangeable for cash or credit.

All entries become the exclusive property of Sponsor and will not be acknowledged or returned. All other attempted methods of entry are considered void.
DRAWING AND WINNER NOTIFICATION: Potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes entry period on or about June 2, 2009 (“Drawing Date”) by the sweepstakes administrator in Burbank, CA. Potential winner will be notified by telephone, mail and/or email (at the telephone number, mailing address and/or email address provided on his/her Entry) within approximately 2 days after the drawing date. If the potential winner cannot be reached after a reasonable effort has been exerted, if he/she is found to be ineligible, if he/she cannot or does not comply with these Official Rules, and/or if his/her prize or prize notification is returned as undeliverable, potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate potential winner will be selected at Sponsor’s sole discretion. If the potential winner cannot be contacted, he/she forfeits the prize without compensation of any kind. If an entrant changes his/her telephone number, mailing address and/or email address after he/she enters the Sweepstakes, it is his/her sole responsibility to notify the Sponsor by (postal) mailing notice by certified mail to the Sponsor’s address (listed below) to be received by the end of the Sweepstakes Period. Sponsor shall have no liability for any winner notification that is lost, intercepted, or not received by the potential winner for any reason.
PRIZE/APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUE (ARV)/ODDS OF WINNING: There is one (1) prize (“Prize”) available. The Prize consists of the following (i) one (1) 2010 Chevy Camaro 1LT (exact model, color, and options shall be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion); (ii) one year (1) OnStar service with “Turn by Turn” navigation; (iii) one (1) Satellite Radio with a one (1) year subscription. The total approximate retail value (“ARV”) for the Prize is twenty-four thousand six-hundred and thirty U.S. Dollars ($24,630). Odds of winning the Prize depend on the actual number of eligible Entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. The Prize winner must take physical delivery of the vehicle from the designated dealership or as otherwise instructed by Sponsor. Vehicle provided will come out of dealer stock from a dealership (chosen at Sponsor’s sole discretion) within one hundred (100) miles of the Prize winner’s home address as indicated on the official entry form. Prize winner may be required to personally retrieve vehicle from the Sponsor’s designated dealership and winner is solely responsible for his/her transportation and related costs for collecting vehicle. The Prize winner is solely responsible for all other expenses not specified herein as being part of the Prize, including title and license fees, registration fees, E.P.A. tax or fee, insurance, options/upgrades, and all other costs incurred in claiming, registering, delivery or ultimate use of the vehicle. Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for delays in delivery. Winner will be required to present adequate personal identification as to current residency as determined by Sponsor (including a current valid driver’s license issued by the state of Oregon or Washington), evidence of legally required insurance and any other required information/documents pertaining to eligibility rules before the winner may take possession of vehicle. Winner bears risk of damage to vehicle after delivery to specified location (i.e., dealership) and vehicle will be forfeited and winner disqualified if winner fails to arrange for or accept delivery of vehicle within 30 days of Sponsor’s notification to Prize winner that vehicle is available. All other expenses not specified herein as being awarded shall be the sole responsibility of the Prize winner.
GENERAL PRIZE RESTRICTIONS: Potential winner is subject to verification. Prize is not redeemable for cash. The prize is non-assignable and nontransferable. The prize is subject to availability and Sponsor in its sole discretion may substitute cash or a different prize (or prize component) of approximately equal or greater value if prize is unavailable for any reason. The winner is solely responsible for the reporting and payment of any federal, state and/or local taxes on the prize awarded. If the potential winner declines the prize, is found to be ineligible, or fails to comply with these Official Rules, such potential winner will be disqualified and will forfeit the prize without compensation of any kind. Upon verification of entrant’s win and compliance with these Official Rules, delivery of the prize will be coordinated by a representative of Sponsor and the winner will receive further notification with details on how to claim his or her prize. All details and other restrictions of the prize not specified in these Official Rules will be determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
GENERAL PRIZE CONDITIONS: Eligibility, age and all claims made by the winner are subject to verification. Sponsor and its agents are not responsible for fraudulent communications including without limitation phone calls, mail, and e-mails made or sent. Potential prize winner will be required to execute an unmodified Affidavit of Eligibility, a Liability Release and where imposing such condition is legal, a Publicity Release (“Prize Claim Documents”). Prize winner will also be required to fax the completed Prize Claim Documents along with a clear and legible copy of Prize winner’s current valid driver’s license issued by the state of Oregon or Washington and a clear and legible copy of Prize winner’s current valid evidence of legally required insurance and any other required information/documents to sweepstakes administrator within twenty-four (24) hours of receipt of these documents by winner. Faxed Prize Claim Documents will have the same force and effect as the originals. The original unaltered Prize Claim Documents must be returned within three (3) days after receipt by potential winner. If the potential winner fails to return such documents within the prescribed time, or if the potential winner is found to be ineligible, or if he/she does not comply with these Official Rules, then the potential winner will be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected from the remaining eligible entries, at Sponsor’s sole discretion. All applicable U.S., federal, state, and local taxes, duties, or other taxes or fess are the sole responsibility of the winner, who will be issued a 1099 IRS tax form for the ARV of the awarded prize. Acceptance of the prize constitutes permission for the Sponsor and its agents to use said winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, and city and state address for all purposes and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without further notice or compensation. Satellite radio subscription is subject to terms and conditions of the Satellite Radio Service Agreement. Sweepstakes Entities make no representations or warranties with respect to the prize; the sole warranty for the vehicle is the manufacturer’s standard new vehicle limited warranty that accompanies the vehicle at time of delivery, the sole warranty for the satellite radio service is the standard (limited) warranty (if any) that accompanies the services. Satellite Radio subscription and OnStar service expires one (1) year from the date of activation and will not be automatically renewed. All expenses not specifically mentioned as being included are excluded and are the sole responsibility of the winner. Depiction of the prize in any advertising, promotional materials, or on the Sweepstakes Website (if any) may not reflect the actual prize delivered to the winner. Winner shall bear all risk of loss or damage to the prize after it has been awarded to the winner. Camaro is a registered trademark of General Motors Corporation.
CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION: This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. By entering the Sweepstakes, each entrant hereby: (a) agrees that the Sweepstakes Entities and each of their respective parent, subsidiaries and affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and each of their respective officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents will have no liability whatsoever for, and shall be held harmless by participants against any liability for any injuries, losses or damages of any kind to person(s), including death, or property resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize or participation in this Sweepstakes or any Sweepstakes-related activity, or for any typographical or other error in the printing of Cards, Unique Codes, or the offering or announcement of the prize; (b) releases the Sweepstakes Entities, their parent companies, subsidiaries, distributors, affiliates, advertising and promotion partners, fulfillment and/or judging agencies, participating Chevy dealers, franchises, agents from all liability, claims, action, or proceedings relating to this Sweepstakes and from injuries or damages arising in connection with or relating to participation in this Sweepstakes, or use or misuse of the prize awarded; and (c) waives any right to claim ambiguity in the Sweepstakes or these Official Rules.
GENERAL RELEASE AND LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY. By entering the Sweepstakes, entrants agree that: (1) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with the Sweepstakes, or the prize awarded, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; (2) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with entering the Sweepstakes, but in no event will attorneys’ fees be awarded or recoverable; and (3) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain any award for, and entrant hereby knowingly and expressly waives all rights to seek, punitive, incidental or consequential damages and/or any other damages, other than actual out-of-pocket expenses, and/or any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that the Sweepstakes Entities are not responsible for any costs, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from or in connection with: (i) incomplete, lost, late, misdirected, or illegible entries or for failure to receive entries due to any cause, including without limitation human, transmission, or technical problems, failures, or malfunctions of any kind, whether originating with sender, with Sponsor, or otherwise, that may limit an entrant’s ability to participate in the Sweepstakes; (ii) incorrect or inaccurate information whether caused by internet users, or by any equipment or programming associated with or utilized in connection with this Sweepstakes and assume no responsibility for any error, omission, malfunction, interruption, deletion, defect, or delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft, or destruction or unauthorized access to, tampering, or hacking; (iii) any injury or damage resulting from participation in the Sweepstakes and/or the use and/or misuse of the prize (including, without limitation, claims, costs, injuries, losses and damages related to personal injuries, death, damage to, loss or destruction of property, or any claims, costs, injuries, losses, or damages related to or based on the entrant’s rights of publicity or privacy); or (iv) the entrant’s claim that he or she has somehow been defamed or portrayed in a false light. Sweepstakes Entities assume no responsibility for any damage to an entrant’s computer system, or participating in the Sweepstakes, or for any computer system, phone line, hardware, software or program malfunctions, or other errors, failures, delayed computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature, or for the incorrect or inaccurate capture of information, or the failure to capture any information. Sponsor reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any entrant it finds to be tampering with the Sweepstakes entry process or operation of the Sweepstakes (including, but not limited to, misuse of Cards/Unique Codes) or to be acting in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner, or with intent to threaten, abuse or harass any other person. Sponsor reserves the right to modify, extend, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes if Sponsor determines, in its sole discretion, that the Sweepstakes is technically impaired or corrupted or that fraud or technical problems, failures or malfunctions or other causes beyond Sponsor’s control have destroyed or severely undermined or to any degree impaired the integrity, administration, security, proper play and/or feasibility of the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein. In the event Sponsor is prevented from awarding the prize or continuing with the Sweepstakes as contemplated herein by any event beyond its control, including but not limited to fire, flood, natural or man-made epidemic of health of other means, earthquake, explosion, labor dispute or strike, act of God or public enemy, satellite or equipment failure, riot or civil disturbance, terrorist threat or activity, war (declared or undeclared) or any federal state or local government law, order, or regulation, public health crisis (e.g., SARS), order of any court or jurisdiction, or other cause not reasonably within Sponsor’s control (each a “Force Majeure” event or occurrence), then subject to any governmental approval which may be required, Sponsor shall have the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the Sweepstakes. If the Sweepstakes is terminated before the designated end date, Sponsor will (if possible) select the prize winner in a random drawing from among all eligible, non-suspect entries received as of the date of the event giving rise to the termination or via some other means deemed by Sponsor in its sole discretion to be fair, appropriate and consistent with these Official Rules. Notice of such action by Sponsor will be posted on Sweepstakes website. Inclusion in such drawing shall be each entrant’s sole and exclusive remedy under such circumstances.
GOVERNING LAW: ALL ISSUES AND QUESTIONS CONCERNING THE CONSTRUCTION, VALIDITY, INTERPRETATION AND ENFORCEABILITY OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES, OR THE RIGHTS AND OBLIGATIONS OF ENTRANTS OR SPONSOR IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES OR IN CONNECTION WITH ANY SUBMISSION OR OTHER MATERIAL SUBMITTED IN CONNECTION WITH THE SWEEPSTAKES, SHALL BE GOVERNED BY AND CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE INTERNAL LAWS OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON WITHOUT GIVING EFFECT TO ANY CHOICE OF LAW OF CONFLICT OF LAW RULES OR PROVISIONS THAT WOULD CAUSE THE APPLICATION OF ANY OTHER STATE’S LAWS. THE INVALIDITY OR UNENFORCEABILITY OF ANY PROVISION OF THESE RULES SHALL NOT AFFECT THE VALIDITY OR ENFORCEABILITY OF ANY OTHER PROVISION. IN THE EVENT THAT ANY PROVISION IS DETERMINED TO BE INVALID OR OTHERWISE UNENFORCEABLE OR ILLEGAL, THESE OFFICIAL RULES SHALL OTHERWISE REMAIN IN EFFECT AND SHALL BE CONSTRUED IN ACCORDANCE WITH THEIR TERMS AS IF THE INVALID OR ILLEGAL PROVISION WERE NOT CONTAINED HEREIN.
IN NO EVENT WILL SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES BE RESPONSIBLE OR LIABLE FOR ANY DAMAGES OR LOSSES OF ANY KIND, INCLUDING DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THIS SWEEPSTAKES. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSION OF LIABILITY FOR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES OR EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES, SO SOME OF THE ABOVE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU. CHECK YOUR LOCAL LAWS FOR ANY RESTRICTIONS OR LIMITATIONS REGARDING THESE LIMITATIONS OR EXCLUSIONS. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE SWEEPSTAKES MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE RIGHT IS RESERVED TO SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT OF THE LAW.
COPY OF OFFICIAL RULES/WINNERS LIST: For the name of the winner, send an email to WinnersList@enteractivesolutions.com with the name of the Sweepstakes in the subject line. All email requests must be received not later than two (2) months after the stated end date of the Sweepstakes Period. The Official Rules will be available on the Website during the Sweepstakes Period.
